Contamination Warning
As a major supplier of Natural Resource Products to Industry, Manufacturing, and Consumers Worldwide, we are very concerned about the cleanliness of transportation equipment (truck, trailer, barge, railcar, support equipment) being used in the movement of Garick's various products. The following is a partial list of some common, but unacceptable items that will cause a serious contamination problem for our customers:
- Floor Sweeping Compounds, Oil Dry, Dirt, Etc.
- Fiberglass Materials, Styrofoam, Glass, and Newsprint
- Wood and all types of Wood By-Products
- Grain, Feed Products, Feedstuffs, and Fertilizers
- Rollers, Lacings, and Rubber Belting
- Ceramic Materials
- Refractory Mortars or Patching Materials
- Limestone, Chromite, or other various Minerals and/or Chemicals
- Gloves, Cuffs, Belts, Ear Protectors, Rope, Etc.
- Electrical Wires, Wire Insulation, or other Electrical Parts
- Coal, Coke, or Coal By-Products
- Slag, Scrap Iron, and Pig Iron
- Asphalt, Concrete, Fly Ash, or other Construction Stone/Road Building Materials
- Any type of aggregate [gradation, color, texture] other than the specific product being transported
- Personal items such as Cigarette/Cigar Butts, Food/Candy Wrappers, Cups, Cans, Paper, and
- Food Waste
- Strapping and Banding Material (plastic/metal), Nuts and Bolts, Nails, Staples, Cutting Wheels,
- Welding Rod Stubs, Welding Splatter, Grinding Wheels and Grinding Wheel Particles, Metal
- Shavings, Rust, Aluminum Foil, and/or any type of Metal, Scrap Metal or Metal Residue
- Any foreign material left in, on, or around trucks, trailers, tarps, barges, and railcars, including but not limited to all support equipment such as loaders, excavators, cranes, stackers, conveyors, and other various equipment involved in the stockpiling, movement, and loading of product for transport
- Equipment must not contain dust, oily film, grease, or other types of residue or residual material that can discolor or contaminate the product.
